What is the Medilink Midlands Innovation Builder (MMIB)?
The primary role of the MMIB is to assess commercial viability and develop participants entrepreneurial skills – supporting ambitious health and medtech innovators in building commercially viable, scalable businesses through expert-led guidance, intensive sprint-based support, and direct investor exposure. Backed by an ecosystem of experts and partners.
MMIB meets innovators at different stages of development through tailored support streams.

Programme fees
Step 1: Technical HIVE sesssion – Free Access – no obligation (subject to a preliminary suitability check).
Step 2-7: *£250 per month, based on a 12-month subscription.
The MMIB subscription provides access to:
- Stage 2: Diagnostics meeting
- Stages 4-7: Investment Readiness HIVE, Investor HIVE, and related activities
- Access to the Medilink Midlands Innovation Builder portal.
Important Information:
- Each application is assessed to ensure ventures are placed in the tier where they will gain the most meaningful impact. The support provided is valued at more than £15,000, representing a highly subsidised opportunity to accelerate growth.
- Any additional work agreed between cohort member and delivery partner will be covered directly by the company. Medilink Midlands will not be liable for any related costs outside of the subscription package offer.
